Yeah, they’ve gone through a number of different manufacturers / brand names over the years.
As I’ve gotten older, I’m convinced that not since Jesus turned ditchwater into muscatel has anything remained the same.

Not necessarily. "Breaking the fourth wall" can mean anything that involves the actors being aware that they're in a movie/play/TV show. For example, if Roscoe were to say to Kookie, "This is the silliest episode we've ever done," that would qualify, even though they're not acknowledging our presence. One of my favorite instances of this came on an episode of BOSTON LEGAL, when two new regulars arrived in the season's third episode. When they introduced themselves as such, Shatner retorted, "Nonsense! If you were the new people you'd have been here on the season premiere."

Thanks, Mike, for the clarification. Just when I think I know stuff, I find myself learning more. I'd like to think I'm a well-read guy, but there's plenty more for me to devour.
If one can consider libraries as kitchens of knowledge, then I am but a short order cook.

This is the Jujubes I remember, although this box is a little before my time, and the actual candies were not nearly so vibrantly-colored. I recall their tasting like a combination of fruit and hairspray. But one would last for at least an hour, and I was always looking to make my candy investments pay off. After all, nickels didn't grow on trees.

I had a nickel tree in my backyard once, but lightening struck it. Turned into a pile of pennies. I planted some, but no luck as yet.

Well, I know something doesn't grow on trees. I thought it was nickels.
