And some British goodness here direct from the UK - because it's not likely to appear on a region 1 disc any time soon:
The Avengers: season 1, episode 20 - Tunnel of Fear.
"Lost" episode recovered in 2016, released earlier this year with a decent batch of bonus bits.

Before that, received "Sapphire and Steel" (a blind buy, but looks like fun; have only watched first episode & look forward to more), and complete series of "Ripcord" (bought to see Harlan Ellison's scriptwriting debut).

Ooh, yes, that early series one episode of The Avengers was quite a recovery!

Think you'll enjoy Sapphire and Steel. That's some weird, creepy goodness right there. Good Hallowe'en viewing.

Last Blu: Martian Chronicles and Agents of SHIELD 4
If you count digital HD: Human Target 1 (and before that Magnum complete).

[Edited to correct my memory about Chronicles]

I took advantage of a Network sale on Amazon UK (stumbled upon it actually) to get:

Odd Man Out - Complete Series (£3.33)
The Piglet Files - Complete Series 1 and Complete Series 2 (£2.49 each)
All in Good Faith - Complete Series 2 (£2.49 - and I ordered S1 of this but it went OOP, became unavailable, got cancelled)
The Lovers - Complete Series (£4.16)
    Slinger's Day - Complete Series (£3.32)
All at Number 20 - Complete Series (£3.32)

and a few SF movies (all of which arrived in slim cases): Unearthly Stranger, Timeslip, and Invasion (£1.66 each)

I'd never heard of, or seen, any of the TV series before and picked them up based on other series starring some of the participants. I've already watched All in Good Faith and wish S1 hadn't gone OOP. It's nothing truly special or groundbreaking and Richard Briers pretty much plays a similar character to that he did in The Good Life but is a vicar. It was enjoyable.

Those are some pretty obscure comedies there, Howie! I've only heard of All in Good Faith and The Piglet Files. Can't go wrong for those prices, though! Let me know if any of them are hidden gems...

We didn't get this in the UK and I was familiar with Steven Weber from The Shining mini-series and Dracula: Dead and Loving It so I thought I'd give it a go. I like what I've seen so far - entertaining if not particularly outstanding sitcom.

I have given up waiting for many of the classic TV shows to be available in Blu ray, and purchased the “Green Acres” complete DVD set. It was $49,99 @ Walmart ($71.00 Amazon.com).

Glad to hear! I'm sure that Shout!'s Green Acres all-in-one will give you a lot of pleasure (and Shout! deserves much credit for getting Green Acres out of that dry spell that was after only the first two or three seasons' worth had individually come out).

Because I know you were all wondering about this...

Peg and I watched the last episode of LMS: Season 6 just last night...making us ready for tonight's first episode of Season 7 on Fox!

It's gonna be tough now to have-to-wait on each new episode!

Now that we've seen the show, it's kinda hard to believe that ABC canceled it.

Think you'll enjoy that series, Doug! I've been slooooowly (as is my wont) going through the series and have really been impressed with the show.

Received my copy of Stoney Burke - Complete Series yesterday afternoon a few hours before Michael soaked Middle Georgia. When I found some free time, I popped in the first disc and started from the beginning. Just the regular cast had me excited. Jack Lord ( I only know him as McGarrett and his guest role on The Invaders and the original Felix Leiter), Warren Oates (Stripes, The Wild Bunch, Blue Thunder), Bruce Dern (The Cowboys, Chappaquidick, Silent Running), Robert Dowdell (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea); as well as the amazing early 60's tv guest stars. A blind buy that seems a no-brainer based on its pedigree (DayStar Productions, United Artists Television).

The Contender (1.1) Philip Abbott, Carl Benton Reid, Kate Manx.
From IMDB: In his striving to be a rodeo champion, Stoney Burke must contend with a self-serving friend, an unscrupulous promoter, a young punk itching for a fight, a beautiful woman betrothed to a rival, and the meanest bronc on the circuit--Megaton.

What a way to start the episode. Wasn't sure how well I would take to Jack Lord in this role. He seemed cold, distant and unsure of himself while in the hospital scenes which led to his accident. Self doubt in a leading character was unusual. By the end of the episode, he had gained respect from Cody, E.J. and Erlie. He seems ready to be the star of the series. I was eager to view the next episode.

Fight Night (1.2) Edgar Buchanan, Alan Bunce, George Mitchell, Bill Zuckert, Leonard Nimoy.
From IMDB: Political rivals in Kate City use the rodeo and a prizefighter as pawns in their grudge match. When the boxing interests attempt to bully the rodeo into postponing its event, Stoney sets out to fight city hall.

If possible I enjoyed this episode more than the pilot. Edgar Buchanan plays oily politician extremely well and I was surprised to see Leonard Nimoy as a prizefighter. Engaging story that pulled me in. I think I am going to like the fine line that Ves appears to be walking, great job by Warren Oates.

This seems to be another series that I will need to ration out since there is only one season. I am reminded of The Fugitive by the outstanding use of "real" locations. The rodeo footage must have looked better on smaller displays but it does not distract to much from what I am viewing. I am so glad that this show was talked about in such glowing terms. Seems to be a great purchase.
